SEASEE makes three showers. The Basic and Premium kits are the same filter shower inside, with the same filters, the same refills and the same rhythm. Premium adds a sturdier, premium-quality build and an anti-slip handle in three colours. Vita C is the scented option: a shower head filter that is an external Vitamin C filter cartridge, gel-type and scented, plus a Vita C head refill that fits both kits.
So the choice comes down to two questions. Do you want the clear Basic handle or the sturdier Premium build in a colour? And would you like scent, through the Vita C shower head filter or a Vita C head refill in your kit? This guide goes through each one, then sets them side by side. All three are a comfort and preference choice, for people who like how their shower feels with a filter in place.
What Basic and Premium share
It is worth starting with what is the same, because it is most of the product.
- Two filters inside. A five-layer head filter sits behind the spray plate: a micro fabric filter, an activated carbon filter, a ceramic ball layer, a chlorine-reduction ball and a second micro fabric filter. A sediment body filter sits in the handle. Together they are designed to help hold back sediment and reduce residual chlorine.
- The same refills. The Sediment Shower Filter Refill holds 3 body filters per box. The 5-Layer Shower Head Filter Refill is one head filter. Both fit both kits.
- The same rhythm. Body filter about every 2 to 4 weeks, head filter about every 2 months. Timing varies with local water conditions and how often the shower is used.
- A view of the filter. On both kits you can see the body filter through the handle, so you can glance at it between changes.
- The same fit. Both are designed for home installation on a standard shower hose. Unscrew your hand shower and screw the SEASEE shower on, hand-tight. Your old hand shower screws back on whenever you like.
- The same origin. Both are made in Korea.
The three showers
Basic
The Shower Filter Kit - Basic is a handheld shower with a clear, transparent handle housing and the full filter set fitted. It is the starting point for a SEASEE shower routine: one head filter and one body filter in the box.
Choose Basic if this is your first filter shower and you would like to start simply, with the same filters and refills as the Premium kit.
Premium
The Premium Shower Filter Kit takes exactly the same filters and refills as Basic. What changes is the shower you hold: a sturdier, premium-quality build and an anti-slip handle, in a choice of three colours.

Choose Premium if the shower is something you pick up every day and you would like a sturdier build and an anti-slip handle, or if you would like the colour to suit your tiles and fittings.
Vita C
The Vita C Shower Head Filter is the scented member of the range. It is an external Vitamin C filter cartridge, gel-type and scented, in Seasee (ocean), Lavender or Rose.
Vita C also comes as a head refill: a five-layer head filter with a Vitamin C gel layer, sold one at a time and changed about every 2 months as a guide. It fits the Basic and Premium kits, so either kit can take a scented head filter in place of the five-layer head refill.

For scent, choose the Vita C shower head filter or a Vita C head refill for either kit. Every interval varies with local water conditions and how often the shower is used.
Questions that help you decide
Will I outgrow Basic? The filters and refills are the same as Premium's, so a Basic shower keeps the same routine for as long as you own it. Moving to Premium later is a change of shower, not of filters or refills.
Can two bathrooms share refills? A Basic in one bathroom and a Premium in the other take the same sediment and head refills, so one box of spares serves both. The Vita C head refill fits either kit too.
How many refill types do I track? On Basic and Premium, two, on two clocks: the body filter about every 2 to 4 weeks and the head filter about every 2 months, whether that head filter is the five-layer refill or the Vita C head refill. Can the refills arrive on their own? Yes: single refills (not bundles) can go on the Refill Plan, at a delivery rhythm you choose.
